We all will experience what it’s like to lose someone we love or deeply care
about. Grief is a common thing and yet extremely unique to each individual
who moves through it. Loss is also something that most think eventually we
are to ‘get over’ and yet it seems we never do. Safety is key to recognizing
the feelings we are experiencing and then giving ourselves the permission
to feel. Being with others who can relate to losing a loved one can be
helpful so we know we are not alone in those feelings or thoughts.
Create a safe place to talk about the death of a loved one

one and needs a place to be with others who have
also experienced the same.
