Sending our sympathy and prayers for peace. Memories go way back to when your family lived on the farm south of Arcadia. What a great family! Lots of fun times. Your Mom was a wonderful mother, bookkeeper and friend. Peace to all, as you go through this sad time. Remember, she is with God!

I will never forget how kind Russ and Donna were and how they supported the community. I will never forget the day Russ died. It was the last ambulance call I made for Loup City before moving to Lincoln. Elmer Iske, Chris Hancock and I responded to the call. I will never forget the depth of sadness the Community felt when it was announced that Russ died so young. Even during Donna's time of grief she was more concerned about us three than herself. Peace be with you Donna

I do not know where to begin with the memories that we have. From Axtell, Long Pine to the good ole Arcadia days, and on to Sherman Lake. I have missed Russ since the day we lost him, so many years ago. Watching our parents and their friendship was something that you do not see to often. It has taught me that they loved each other dearly and would do anything for each other. This friendship between them went on for over 50 years. When we lost Momma, I had to find a place for her to be buried. Finding a place open where our folks could all be together was such a miracle. So now after all these years and memories, they are all together again. I will miss you Donna as much as I miss my Momma and Dad. In this life that we live, I do not like losing the people that I love, but God is our guide and we go when he is ready for us. With the memories that I have, I will cherish them all forever. Linda ~ Laura ~ John ~ Marty ~ Jim, you are in our thoughts and prayers. I am sorry for your loss but I am also feeling happy that our parents are together again and for the love and friendship that they gave us all, for each other. Praying for you all.
