Loretta "Annie" Ann (Kellander) DeBolt

     Loretta “Annie” Ann DeBolt, 80 of Loup City, NE died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Valley County Health System in Ord, NE. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loup City, NE with Reverend Shawn Kitzing officiating. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22 at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Loup City Fire Department, Loup City EMT’s or donor’s choice. 

     Loretta Ann (Kellander) DeBolt was born March 21, 1937 at Bayard, NE to Albert and Delilah (Dalbey) Kellander. She grew up and attended school in Bayard and Gering. She married Ralph “Vern” LaVern DeBolt on Oct. 22, 1956, at Denver. They first lived in Scottsbluff. In 1976, the family moved to Loup City where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 48 of Loup City. She enjoyed spending time at her daughter’s daycare rocking the babies to sleep.

     Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey and Tim Dorsey, Tina and John Kalinowski and Toni and Mark Oseka, all of Loup City, and Terri Rowley of Aurora, CO; step-son, Gary and Nancy DeBolt of Torrington, WY; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vern; great granddaughter, Quinn and an infant great-grandchild.
