To the Kuehl Family,
On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Jim’s passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and our shipmate. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Jim, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on USS GROUPER SS-214 during World War II , will always be remembered as a “Brother of the Phin”, a member of our Greatest Generation, and a great Patriot.

Dear Kuehl family, I am so sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one Jim. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon Jehovah God through his son Christ Jesus is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all the causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me when I've lost loved ones and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives. If you would like to read these Scriptures online for free or find more comforting thoughts, please visit jw.org Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss.
Sincerely, Trudy Nowell - Panama City Beach, FL

Our sincere condolences to the Kuehl family. Jim was a special great uncle. He was always kind and generous. I am not sure how many times he gave us honey. It was always the best. He was a man who was dedicated to his family, his community, his church and his business. He left his mark on this world. I am thankful that I knew him. He will be missed by many.
Sincerely,
Doug (and Roxane) Mercer

My sympathy to the family at Jim’s passing. He and Ruby were friends of my parents, Del & Louise, through church, KCs, years of card club and traveling. We’ll be thinking of you.
