Linda Sue (Ericson) Ansbach

     Linda Sue (Ericson) Ansbach, 65 of Loup City, NE died Saturday, February 18, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Gretna, NE surrounded by her family. Celebration of Life services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loup City with Reverend Shawn Kitzing officiating.  A continued Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion Club in Loup City. Memorials are suggested to the Ansbach family or donor’s choice. 

   Linda Sue (Ericson) Ansbach was born on April 26, 1951 in Junction City, Kansas to John Russel Ericson and LaDonna Mae (Peterson) Ericson. Her early childhood years were spent in Axtell, NE until the family moved to Arcadia, NE. Linda was a big sister to four younger brothers and sisters; John, Laura, Martha and James. The family lived on the farm and in town, allowing her to attend Arcadia Public Schools until 1968. Her senior year was at Loup City High School and she graduated in 1969 with many friends. Linda enlisted with the United States Army following graduation and served until starting her own family with husband, Regnald Ansbach. From this union, four children were born; Stacie, Matthew, Amanda and Jackie. Linda divorced and lived in central Nebraska and was a United States Postal Worker for 30 years. Linda had many close friendships through the years and was devoted to her family. Her final days were spent at home, surrounded by her family.

     She is survived by her children; Stacie Ansbach, Matthew and Lindsey Ansbach, Amanda and Matthew Burmeister and Jackie Ansbach; siblings; John and Cindy Ericson; Laura and Ron Hurlburt; Martha Vermaas and James Ericson; grandchildren, Madison and MaKinley Keefe; Cara and Kylie Ansbach; Alexis and Iszac Ansbach and Tayleigh Burmeister and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Roger Vermaas and grandson, RyLee Ansbach.
