Thomas H. Wagner, 91 of Westminster, CO died at his home in Westminster on March 27, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City, NE with Father Richard Piontkowski presiding. Military honors will be provided by the Loup City American Legion Post #48. Thomas H. Wagner was born in West Burlington, Iowa on November 2, 1926 to Clement B. and Hulda C. (Schamper) Wagner. Tom had a rewarding career with Westinghouse as a nuclear engineer earning recognition and multiple awards for his innovative designs used in several nuclear power plants. His interests included studying Christian history, reading and building architectural Legos kits. Tom was also an accomplished handyman in his younger years and loved to think through how something was built or created.
Tom is survived by his wife, who was the love and light of his life, Marjorie (Smith) Wagner, his daughters: Patricia (Michael) Hordell, Dianne (Peter) Mahoney and Barbara (Doug) Cox; his sister: Jean Leas and his brother: John Wagner. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren: Jason, Brandon, Tyler, Madison, Morgan, Shannon and Elizabeth and 4 great grandchildren: Emilee, Aidan, Wesley, and Giana. He will be loved forever and sadly missed by his family. Tom’s parents, Mary Falat (sister) and Jim Wagner (brother) went to the Lord before him and were waiting when he joined them on March 27th.
