Ana D. Hilerio, 79 of Loup City, NE died Monday, September 4, 2023 at CHI Health, Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Katalari Farms east of Loup City on Highway 92 with Stan Tiller officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service. Cremation will follow the service. Memorials are suggested to the Hilerio family or donor’s choice.

Ana D. Hilerio was born August 22, 1944 at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to Pedro and Pascula (Mendez) Hilerio. Ana grew up in Manhattan, NY and in 1990 moved to San Diego, CA. In 1996 she moved to Loup City where she resided until moving to Ord for a short time in 2023 and then moved back to Loup City. Ana enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ana is survived by her sons, Jose Velez of San Antonio, TX and Adrian Velez of Loup City, NE; brothers, Pedro (Lily) Hilerio of New Jersey; Ruben (Angela) Hilerio of Florida; Heriberto Hilerio of Florida; sisters, Rosa (Ed) Salo of Mexico; Ofelia (Richard) Dunn of San Diego, CA and 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Ana was preceded in death by her son, Frankie; parents, Pedro and Pascula; daughter-in-law, Edith Velez and granddaughter, Edith Solis.
