Darral E. Bartley, 92 of Kearney, NE formerly of Ravenna, NE died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Good Samaritan Society, St. John’s in Kearney, NE. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2026 at the United Methodist Church in Ravenna, NE with Reverend Chuck Squier officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna with military honors by the Ravenna American Legion Post #5820 and United States Army Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January18, 2026 at the church. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Darral E. Bartley was born April 19, 1933 at Smith County, KS to Loland F. and Sarah D. (Williams) Bartley. He attended school in Kansas. Darral married Patricia “Patty” Ann Teahon on June 4, 1955 at Kearney, NE. They had three children; Darral, Jr., Loree and Patrick. They moved around following Darral’s work in construction and farming and settled in Ravenna 1965. He was a building supervisor at Chief Industries in Grand Island, NE. Darral was a Boy Scout Leader and former Scoutmaster and a member of the Ravenna Lions Club. Darral and Patty were very active in the Ravenna Lion’s Club having been members for over 50 years.

Darral is survived by his daughter, Loree (Kevin) Wicht of Ravenna, NE; three grandchildren; Kyle Wicht, Jason (Steffi Johnson) Barent and Dustin Bartley; five great grandchildren, Kim Barent, Taylor Barent, Morgan Wicht, Jordan Johnson and Lilliana Johnson; sister, Sharon (Larry) Kaslon of Loup City, NE; brother-in-law, John Michalek of Edgemont, SD; sisters-in-law, Bev Dubas of Ord, NE; Kay Bartley of Western, NE and Julie Bartley of Aurora, NE. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Ann; two sons, Darral, Jr. and Patrick; grandsons, Bryan Barent and Jamie Bartley; brothers, Bill, Allen, Bob and Jerry and sisters, Twila Beydler and Marj Michalek.
