Donald Dean Schade, 69 of Paulding, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loup City, NE with Reverend Shawn Kitzing officiating. Burial will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City with military honors by the Loup City American Legion Post #48. A time to greet the family will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Donald was born in Loup City, Nebraska on May 28, 1943 a son of the late Leslie & Anna (Heins) Schade.
Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. He had been a mechanic for Chevrolet & John Deere, but retired as a United States Post Office Clerk in Grand Island, Nebraska.
On January 28, 1968 Donald married Bernadine Hollenbeck.
Donald will be sadly missed by his wife, Bernadine of Paulding, Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Brenda of Murdock, MN & Troy and Lisa of Hicksville, Ohio; grandchildren, Brittany & Brandy of Murdock and Kyrah of Hicksville, Ohio; great grandchild Tanner of Murdock, MN; sisters, Loraine Nehls & Sandy Schade of North Platte, NE and brother, Duane of Rodgers, AK.
