Donna Lucille Krolikowski, 84 of Loup City, Nebraska passed May 28th, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family at Bryan Medical Center West campus in Lincoln, Nebraska.      Donna was born December 24, 1941 to John & Evelyn Gallaway. She grew up on the family farm near Arcadia alongside her two brothers, Darwin & Marvin.

On June 22, 1960 Donna married Dennis Krolikowski. They settled in their farmhouse on Trail 8 where they farmed and raised 5 daughters and 2 sons. Together they built a life centered around faith, family and hard work. Donna raised poodles, which was such a joy for her. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women and she also taught at a Country school which she was so proud of herself.

Donna had a beautiful appreciation for God's canvas of art. She found joy in flowers blooming, gardens growing, and caring for the animals she loved so deeply. She worked hard throughout her life yet carried herself with grace and ease that inspired those around her. Her compassionate spirit, patience, and loving heart made people feel safe, cared for and her home was always welcoming.

Her love was warm and contagious, and she shared it freely and abundantly. Whether through a comforting word, a caring gesture, or simply her presence, Donna made the world brighter for so many.

She leaves behind a family who adores her and although their hearts are heavy with her loss, they find comfort in the countless memories, lessons, and love she leaves behind. Her spirit will continue to bloom in every flower, every act of kindness, and every gathering of the family she cherished so deeply.

Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She is survived by her six children, Deb, John (Kim), Diane (Jerry) Johnson, Pam, Peggy and Marcy: daughter-in-law, Joyce; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, all of whom were blessed by her endless love and guidance.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, John & Evelyn; husband, Dennis; brother, Marvin and her son, Mitchel.

She will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
