Edwin Kuszak 89 of Loup City, NE died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Rose Lane Home in Loup City, NE. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church in Loup City, NE with Father Martin Egging officiating. Burial will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials are suggested to donor’s choice. Edwin Kuszak was born July 11, 1920 at Ashton, NE to Alex and Rose (Woitalewicz) Kuszak. Edwin grew up and attended rural school in Ashton. On October 6, 1962 he married Henrietta Michalski at St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church in Loup City. Edwin farmed all his life until a stroke kept him from doing it anymore. However, he never lost interest in the farm, always wanting to know how the calving was going. He enjoyed playing cards with the grandkids and Tuesday’s after the sale with neighbors. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Henrietta of Loup City, NE; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene & Michael Rowley of St. Paul, NE; Tammy & Pat Blodgett of Central City, NE; three sons and daughters-in-law, David Kuszak; Michael & Sherie Kuszak and Kevin & Tricia Kuszak all of Loup City, NE; grandchildren, Cory Rowley; Summer Klein; Keith and Luke Blodgett; Ryan & Kasha Lonowski; Adrienne Haubold; Breanna Kuszak; Joshua, Cody, Cole and Kaci Kuszak; Jori, Jaci and Jacob Kuszak; great grandchildren, Whitney, Ivy and Jay Rowley and Dilyn and Brook Klein; brothers and sister-in-law, Harry Kuszak and Ernest and Marge Kuszak all of Loup City, NE.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Kuszak; grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Kuszak; brothers, Clemence, Louie, Dominic and Ben Kuszak and sister, Lordine Budzinski.
