Eugene "Randy" R. Hoerle

Eugene "Randy" R. Hoerle, 43 of Loup City, NE died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his home in Loup City.  Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bartlett, NE with Reverend Terry Makelin officiating.  Burial will be held at the Bartlett Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials are suggested to the Hoerle family or donor’s choice.

Eugene R. Hoerle was born April 5, 1970 at Burwell, NE to Ronald E. and Darla (Oberg) Hoerle.  He grew up and attended school at Wheeler County and graduated from Arcadia High School in 1988.  He then attended Southeast Community College to become a diesel mechanic.  He married Kim Merkel, April 16, 2010 in Loup City, NE.  He was an over the road truck driver for 10 years and then started his own business Two Dogs Trucking and owned and operated it for the past 10 years.  He enjoyed fishing, blue rock shooting, model railroads and pets.

He is survived by his wife, Kim of Loup City, NE; mother, Darla Hoerle of Loup City, NE; father, Ronald and wife Cindy Hoerle of Ewing, NE ; sister, Rhonda Hopkins of Lancaster, NY; paternal grandmother, Mardell Hoerle of O’Neill, NE; maternal grandparents, Derald and Florence Oberg of Bartlett, NE and several aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Eugene Hoerle.
