Jack W. Johnson, 69 of Loup City, NE died Saturday, February 15, 2020 at CHI St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island, NE. Cremation has been held. A Celebration of Life (bar-b-que) service will be held June 13 at Sunset Park in Council Bluff, IA.

Jack W. Johnson was born June 16, 1950 at Council Bluffs, Iowa to Richard and Vivian C. (Cox) Johnson. He grew up and attended school in Council Bluffs and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1968. Jack enlisted in the United States Army in March, 1969. He was honorably discharged in December, 1970. In 1977 he married Christina Osuna at St. Joseph Church in Madera, CA. He moved to Loup City, NE in 2011. Jack loved fishing, his dogs and being outdoors.

Jack is survived by sons, Justin of Loup City, NE and Jeremy of Big Bear, CA; significant other, Lori Wendt of Loup City, NE; sister, Beverly Allison of Little Sioux, IA; Linda Beezley of Blenco, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rita Reed; niece Tanna Marie Reed
