Lora Koker, 101 of Loup City, NE died Friday, May 15, 2015 at Rose Lane Home in Loup City. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Loup City Community Building with Speaker DeWayne Hanes. Burial will be at the Arcadia City Cemetery in Arcadia, NE. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Community Building. Memorials are suggested to Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Lora B. (Clingman) Koker was born December 27, 1913 at Ash Canyon near Ansley, NE to Wells Boyer and Elizabeth Bell (Houts) Clingman. She grew up and attended school in the Ansley/Arcadia area. On March 25, 1934 she married Harry C. Koker at Arcadia, NE. They farmed south of Arcadia in Sherman County. She moved to Loup City in 1979. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her daughter, Viola F. Spaulding of Omaha, NE; Shirley Jean Salmons of Auburn, WA; Harriett (Maynard) Franzen of Arcadia, NE; Lora L. (Jerry) Andresen of Aurora, CO; son, Gerald H. (Leona) Koker of Arcadia, NE; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and sister, Nona Wallin of Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, four sisters and one grandchild.
