Neta Marie Caddy, 86 of Cody,Wyoming died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her home in Cody. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City, NE with Reverend Delmar Unruh officiating. Pallbearers will be Jasen Hansen, Troy Caddy, Shaun Hansen, Laine Caddy Morales, Marie Hansen, and Nicole Hansen. Memorials are suggested to the Caddy family or donor’s choice.
Neta Marie (Wilkins) Caddy was born May 6, 1925 at Booneville, IA to George E. and Neta (Allen) Wilkins. She grew up and attended school in Loup City, NE. She married Dale T. Caddy on September 9, 1945 in Loup City. To this union three children were born. Dale died April 15, 1983. Neta took pride in being a wife and mother and lived in Nebraska, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Alaska throughout her lifetime.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Neta and Mac Hansen of Cody, Wyoming; son, Bruce Caddy of Louisiana and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Neta Wilkins; beloved husband, Dale; infant daughter, Diane; sister and brother-in-law, Theola and Nels Caddy.
