Raymond Waterbury, Jr.

Raymond Waterbury, Jr. was born March 20, 1924 at Berwyn, NE to Raymond, Sr. and Mayme (Garnett) Waterbury. He and his family moved to Berwyn, NE in 1925 and then to Arcadia, NE in 1929. Ray was baptized in 1940 at the Arcadia Methodist Church. He graduated from Arcadia High School in 1942. Ray helped his father out at his father’s general store in Arcadia. In 1971 he moved to Loup City, NE and lived at Westside Park and in 1988 he moved to Rose Lane Home in Loup City. Ray loved jokes, listening to his short wave radio and his walks.
He is survived by his cousins, Robert and wife, Louise Garnett of Lompoc, CA; Wanda and husband, Sid Hanks of Rockport, TX; second cousins, David and wife, Linda Heapy of Litchfield, NE; Elaine Hackbart of Hebron, NE and Eldonna and husband, Brian Small of Mesquite, TX.
