Sarah Jane Barry (née Logan), 59 of Loup City, NE died Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Bryan Medical Center, East in Lincoln, NE. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Jenner’s Park in Loup City. Darrell Holzinger will officiate. Contributions and memorials are suggested to the family and welcome.

Sarah was born on March 16, 1965, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Clyde and Rose Logan. She was an amazingly loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was known for her selflessness and willingness to help others without hesitation. Her caring nature and unwavering dedication to her loved ones defined her character.

In her career, Sarah owned a cleaning business in Lincoln before pursuing her passion for caregiving. She obtained her CNA certification and later her MA, which led her to work at Rose Lane Home. Despite facing health challenges and being disabled from a stroke in 2018, Sarah's commitment to her family and friends never wavered.

She is survived by her son, William, her daughters Amanda (Josh) Hubbard and Savannah (John) Sommerville, her grandson, three granddaughters, her sister Kathy (Mark) Schafer, multiple relatives, and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, William Barry, her parents, and several siblings.

Sarah Barry was a baptized and saved Christian who has now gone home to her Good Lord and Savior. May she rest in peace.
