Deborah Sue Norseen was born January 18, 1951 to George M. and Margaret (Gerloff) Keller in Hastings, NE. Debbie grew up and attended school in Hastings and graduated from Hastings Senior High in 1969. She attended Central Community College briefly and started working at Mary Lanning Hospital as a nurse’s aide. Debbie worked with Cheryl Norseen at Mary Lanning and was introduced to her future husband, Earl Norseen in 1972. Debbie and Earl were married November 16, 1974 in Hastings. They farmed their entire married life in Sherman County. Debbie worked briefly for Dr. Edelman, DDS until he sold his practice and moved from Loup City. She then stopped working outside the home and helped Earl on the farm and started a family. In the mid 90’s Dr. Anantachai asked Debbie to work for him as a receptionist and aide to surgery. She also worked at Custom Floral part-time and thoroughly enjoyed both. After Dr. Anantachai left and Custom Floral changed hands, she was content to stay at home and be a full time Grandma. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Earl of Loup City, NE; children, Shane (Charlsie) Norseen of Loup City, NE; Talley (Jeremy) Swartz of Minden, NE; Christian Norseen and Michelle Riddle of Greeley, NE; Kyle (Sarah) Norseen of Loup City, NE; 8 grandchildren; sister, Terri (Max) Shurman of Hildreth, NE; brother, George W. Keller of Denver, CO; brother-in-law, Gary (Jane) Norseen of Gothenburg, NE; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Curt) Pfiel of Alma, NE; Cheryl Swartzell of Wichita, KS and several nieces, nephews and friends.  Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.
