Ivan E. Arnold 71 of Loup City, NE died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Rose Lane Home in Loup City, NE. Cremation has been held and burial of the ashes will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2001 at the Kearney Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Hutson officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Arnold family or donor’s choice.
Ivan Eugene Arnold was born March 9, 1940 at Miller, NE to James Vern and Hazel Marie (Havens) Arnold. He grew up on a farm near Miller and attended Red Wing School. He lived in Miller until 1980 when he moved to Sumner, NE. He married Emily Aboad in 1983 in Kearney, NE. In 2001 he moved to Loup City, NE. He worked for the Line family and several area farmers in the Miller and Sumner area. He also did lawn maintenance throughout his lifetime. He was a member of Grace Bible Church in Loup City. Ivan loved to watch wrestling on T.V., hunting, fishing and visiting with people.
He is survived by 4 nieces and 7 nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra and second wife, Emily; parents; sister, Linda Dockweiler and Shirley Tibbetts; brother, Robert Arnold and niece, Debra Dubbs.
