Obituary

     Joycelyn M. James died peacefully Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her home in Loup City surrounded by her family. Cremation has been held and no services are scheduled.

     Joycelyn M. (Ruzicka) James was born June 7, 1955 at Sargent, NE to Emil and Isabelle (Krason) Ruzicka. She grew up and attended school in Sargent and graduated from Sargent High School and then attended the Grand Island School of Business. On August 22, 2003 she married Steven James at Ravenna, NE. They lived in Ravenna until moving to Loup City in 2019. Joycelyn worked at GIA, Five Points Bank and retired from the Ravenna locker. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

     Joycelyn is survived by her husband, Steven of Loup City, NE; son, Jeramie Ruzicka of Juniata, NE; daughter, Krystal Larson of Grand Island, NE; son, Brandon Larson of Grand Island, NE; step-daughter, Tracy Mitchell of Yankton, SD; step-son, Travis James of Campbell, NE; step-daughter, Tiffany James of Lincoln, NE; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Mick, Greg, Tim, Tom and Ron and sisters, Pam, Sharon and Kathy. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Doug.
