Mary L. (Stefan) True

     Mary L. True, 82 of Arcadia, NE died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Valley County Hospital in Ord, NE. Celebration of Life services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at the United Methodist Church in Arcadia, NE with Pastor Ray Berry officiating. All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are required. Inurnment of the ashes will be held at a later date at the Lee Park Cemetery west of Arcadia. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to the True family or donor’s choice. 

     Mary Louise (Stefan) True was born May 29, 1938 at Omaha, NE to Charles W. and Willamina (Heil) True. She grew up in Omaha and graduated from South High School in Omaha. She married Reginald Dale True on April 28, 1962 in Omaha, NE. They had two children; Mark Anthony and Catherine Anne. Throughout their married life they lived in San Diego, CA, El Paso, TX, Lompoc, CA and Lancaster, CA. They moved to Arcadia, NE in 2001. Mary was a member of the Catholic Church, Arcadia VFW Auxiliary and Arcadia Garden Club.

     Mary is survived by her husband, Reginald (Reggie) True of Arcadia, NE; son, Mark Anthony True of Eugene, OR; daughter, Catherine Anne True of Arcadia, NE and grandson, Johnathan True. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Charles.
